Procrastination.

If someone asked me if I had a hobby, I think my answer would be procrastination. I procrastinate so much that I procrastinate about procrastinating. In saying that, I do find many inspirations and get all giddy and enlightened by new ideas I come across - this hails from my excellent trolling through the interwebz. Here are some random things that spark my interest for a short period of time (a whole day if it's really interesting)

1. Baking
One of the perks of spending copious amounts of time on tumblr, is seeing photos of delicious baked goods. Nutella crepes, cookies & cream cakes (I have an unhealthy obsession with c&c), pancakes with fresh strawberries and cream, macaroons, etc etc. I not only salivate at the images, but also get inspired to bake - for baking is also a form of art and my future kids would really like me because the home would smell of freshly baked cookies when they get home from school.

2. The Great Outdoors
I see photos of the rain forest. The beach. People camping in the rain forest and the beach. They're having a grand old time in the nature. Holding hands under the stars, toasting marshmallows in the fire and general free spirited-ness in the wild. Then I remember how much I love hot showers.

3. Re-decorating my room
The Selby may not be in my place, but I get to look at places that are being hospitable to Todd.

One day I will have a big spacious apartment or a little terrace. It will have brick walls and big windows that let in lots of sunlight. I will have clean white curtains and crisp white bedsheets.

4. Success
I think about ways to decorate my future dwelling. My imaginary interior design tells me it's not going to be free/cheap. I'm going to need money to achieve this perfect yet slightly disheveled abode. This then leads me to get all motivated to do uni work so then I'll graduate with ace marks then get an awesome job that pays the bills and a lil extra. So then I go to study/write an essay then get distracted by my neighbour's music and make tea.

As you can see, the various inspirations that pop up in my life are usually short lived. This post was actually a product of procrastination. Now back to work... (psssh)
